Hi guys!

So the other mods and I have discussed this and we've decided to take some precautionary measures by moderating future membership as well as current members. This is honestly to protect our members by keeping lurkers out and people from ratting out the community.

On that note here is what we are doing:

- If your journal is new (created today/recently) or you have zero to little comments you are probably not going to be accepted. Sorry. Go out and comment more, join some communities and show us that you are somewhat active. New journals scream lurkers to us and that is not what we want this community to be about. This goes along with current members whose journals may appear new or not active. We will PM letting you know why you were removed so you do not feel like this came out of nowhere.

- If you feel that you have been rejected or removed unfairly, you can either go over to page-a-mod and talk to one of the mods who would be more than willing to discuss rejoining the community OR you can have members that are a part of the community vouch for you.

- We are not too strict when it comes to who can or can't be a part of this community, but we just want people to feel safe posting here (i.e-posting downloads, rare pics, personal pics, etc.) , so as long as you fit the first criteria, you have nothing to worry about. :)

- Other than that, go out and keep posting! We want more of the members here to post, the things we post here don't necessarily have to be news articles or tour dates of the bands, so make a discussion post about an artist or band you want to talk about or share pictures that you think others would enjoy. This community is for you guys, we just want to keep this community as alive as possible!

Love from your mods.

If you have any queries, concerns or suggestions, please feel free to post them here and a mod will get back to you as soon as possible. All comments are screened.

WELCOME TO londonfolk!
londonfolk is a non srs bsns fun community for those who enjoy the musicians in the London music scene. Post anything you want that relates to musicians from London including music, interviews, new articles, tour dates, videos, or any other information you might find interesting to your fellow members.

We all love the music that these guys make, so we allow members to upload and share music that they might want other members to listen to. However, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me get what I want make sure that you guys protect your links, we can't reiterate that enough. We don't want the community to be tracked so make sure you guys protect your links by

Using formats such as:
1. hxxp:// instead of http://
2. Adding http://anonym.to/? to the front of your link. (Make sure you keep the question mark in the link)

We also allow discussion posts and interactive posts, as long as they somehow remain related to the London music scene. Talking about albums, songs, the musicians, and fan experiences is completely allowed! We would love to hear about your experiences with any musicians that you may meet and/or get live uploads, bootlegs, etc. that you are willing to share with the community.

No worries, we will have recommendation posts every once in awhile to allow members to rec music outside of London that they want to share as well.

Other than that, go forth and post freely. We want to keep this community active, so on a slow day, post a song or video for other members!
Please feel free to page-a-mod if you have any questions/concerns/comments :)
